Our Story
From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a carpenter. After serving in the British Army, I returned to my first love: woodwork. With the support of my wife and business partner, Karen, I turned my hobby into a full-time business — Moosewood Furniture.
Founded by Mark and Karen, MooseWood Furniture is a family-run business in Burgess Hill, Mid Sussex. Our passion lies in creating thoughtfully designed, beautifully crafted wooden pieces that are built to last from reclaimed wood

Why Moosewood?
All wooden items are handmade to order. Our smaller homewares and kitchen islands are made from reclaimed timber, letting every piece of wood find a new purpose, with almost no waste left behind. We buy our materials locally to support the community and reduce transportation emissions, and with our homewares we try to source recycled fabrics and materials wherever possible.
